The Longstar VLS-1P-BC is base unit designed to send either Ethernet or PoE signals really long distances over new or legacy coaxial cable. The base unit works in partnership with a camera unit at the opposite end of the coaxial cable, this has to be purchased separately to the base unit. This is the perfect solution for installing IP cameras in places were connecting to the internet is tricky, such as underground train stations, large warehouses or historical buildings.
