Hikvision NVR - Straight forward Review by Tim Jeffries-Harris

This does what it claims and the Hikvision software is pretty straight forward to get everything up and running, especially when coupled with the Use-IP online support forum. Slight irritation is that the unit has a fan which is a bit noisy so bear that in mind when considering where to site the unit (Posted on 4 January 2018)

Simple to set up and use. Ip-use have several videos on how to set up and use all very helpfull. A quality product. Like most NVRs it does have a small fan for cooling. (Posted on 3 January 2018)

After struggling with a low powered NAS and trying to hook up my Hikvision turrets with a PoE switch I decided to hit the "Simplify" button and invest in one of these. With a 3TB purple drive added, all my problems were soon over and I must say, it certainly allows you to get the most out of your cameras with minimum effort! (Posted on 2 January 2018)
