The device is very aesthetically pleasing, working your way through the menu's is very straight forward. Playback quality is is outstanding. Very pleased with this purchase. Use-ip kept me updated with the delivery date. Packaging was very good. Have used use-ip since and will definitely use again as I expand my system. (Posted on 30 May 2018)

This is a great piece of kit if you're setting up a medium size CCTV infrastructure. I've upgraded to this kit from an inferior brand and the difference is remarkable. The software is quick and easy to use, regular firmware and software updates mean you'll not be out of date or vulnerable in a few years time. Support from use-IP is also great, they respond to my emails promptly and try to help. (Posted on 1 May 2018)

After a long struggle with a Unifi camera and its proprietary firmware I at last gave up and decided to go another way. Encouraged by the experience from a couple of Hikvision cameras I ordered this NVR and the result is satisfying. Even as a novice in camera business I managed to have the system up and working as desired in reasonable time. So far it has proven stable and with good picture quality. My only concern is sound level of the PSU fan, it's hard to hide the unit when your ears immediatly tell you where to search for it. Shouldn't be impossible to find some kind of solution for that so it isn't a major flaw.
Next thing to do is persuading the Unifi camera to play with the NVR, something I have to seek support for from the forum.
All in all I'm happy with the purchase and can recommend buying from use-IP. (Posted on 27 March 2018)
