This camera uses wide dynamic range and an infa-red cut filter to handle situations with extreme light or dark to still provide a clear image. This fisheye camera is a great choice for external applications as it is rated both IP66 weatherproof and IK10 vandal resistant. It also has built-in infra-red LEDs that are effective up to 15m. The DS-2CD63C2F-IVS uses a range of image enhancing features such as digital wide dynamic range, region of interest and 3D digital noise reduction technology. It also supports smart features to improve security further such as line crossing detection, intrusion detection and motion detection. The option to add an external microphone/speaker is possible as this camera as an audio/alarm I/O.
