Part of Hikvision's Easy IP Solution family of cameras and NVRs, the DS-2CD2442FWD-IW is built to be as simple to setup and use as possible. M obile monitoring is possible via Hivision's mobile app Hik-Connect or via a web browser, making this camera easily scalable and perfect for use either as a standalone security camera, or as part of a larger system.
The camera comes with an in-built microphone and support for two-way audio, allowing you to hear what's being recorded as well as send sound via the camera's speaker, great when used as a baby monitor or to scare away would-be intruders.
This camera support power over ethernet (PoE), meaning that it's able to be powered via the use of a standard Cat5 or Cat6 network cable used to connect it to your network video recorder (NVR).
