The camera arrived on time and was very well packaged. There are no instructions in the box, you have to go on line to down load them, also the software to run the camera. It took me awhile to get the camera to work (about a week), until I found out that the drivers only work correctly in Internet Explorer. It would have saved a lot of frustration if there had been a note in the box warning you of that. Now that it is working OK, the picture quality is excellent day and night. One niggle is when it is raining the lens gets covered with water drops, the rain shroud that is fitted doesn't seem to do much good, but all in all the camera is excellent. The owners manual is quite good but leaves out a lot of details about setting the camera up, it assumes that you already now about video technicalities and port settings, I couldn't find any technical help on the Milesight website. Another little niggle is that you can only record to an SD card using the camera software, to record to external storage you have to download the Video Management System software which is quite good, when you run it for the first time you are asked to register but you can't register on line, which seems strange, instead you have to email them and wait for them to get back to you, I did get a reply informing me that someone would deal with it,I'm still waiting two weeks later!!.
