Key features:
- Uses legacy coaxial cable
- Fast Ethernet up to 500m
- Supports all IP devices
- Simple to install
Veracity's HIGHWIRE Ethernet over Coax device turns any analog video cable into a high-speed network connection. This allows the replacement of analog IP cameras with IP cameras without installation of any new cabling, which can save some 30-40% of the system cost. Universal connections for coax, network and power, with no user set-up required, make installation easy and very fast.
The main application for HIGHWIRE is straightforward replacement of analog cameras for IP cameras without re-wiring. HIGHWIRE will handle megapixel cameras and PTZ IP cameras without problems.
Other applications include VOIP, long-range networking (500m) with RG11 cable, lifts and elevators (as coax bends and coils easily), and
indeed anywhere there is coax.

Hi,
I want to get cable internet in my house, however i am 300m from the street. The Technician that came out said that by the time the RG11 cable got to my house there would be no signal. would the highwire EoC fix that and if so, what products
would i need to get it to work?
Thanks

Sorry Daniel,
These are intended for different technologies to your issue and I doubt very much that it would work ...

Our house is wired with UHF standard coax from a central point in the living room (including main TV) to 4 other TVs. At present this carries DVB-T & DVB-T2 signals off aerial and locally generated PAL UHF channels. I wish to upgrade the locally generated system to High Definition 1080i . No-one seems to offer reasonably priced DVB-T2 modulators. If we converted the locally generated HD-TV material to IP would your system transmit it over the coax WITHOUT interfering with the DVB-T & DVB-T2 UHF signals off aerial? If so, please advise the appropriate model number.

Hi There,
Sorry no, our equipment is designed for RG59 75ohm co-ax for CCTV, not UHF and is unlikely to meet your requirements.
